Received my clarisonic plus afew days ago. I really hope it's as hype up as what's being reviewed on youtube. I really did watch a huge ass number of reviews on youtube. Because I didn't want to be throwing 260 bucks down the drain on something that does not work. =X

So far I have used it for 2 days and it really does clean my skin. After using it, I can feel that my face has lesser dry spots and it has become more smooth. But I have yet to see it having any effects on my pores or my blackheads. We shall see again in a month's time, if it will really close up my pores.

girls are really easy to satisfy. u dont have to buy them expensive things or bring them to eat at expensive places. i think overall its the actions that girls look for; little surprises and sweet words. it's sometimes hard to comprehend why some guys just dont get it.

personally, i dont need a guy to always buy me expensive stuff. all these are just short term happiness. i may be happy for a fleeting moment but an object is an object afterall. it wont give me warmth or comfort me when i'm unhappy. what i need is someone who will make me happy when im down and most importantly make me feel like i'm someone special. at the end of the day, it's the thought that counts.

the work load in school is killing me. I wonder how some people can cope with it and even start on their essays so early. they must be crazy! plus i think that all this stress is making me go mad. been feeling really emotional. so unlike me. hope this bloody phrase will be gone soon. watching eat, pray, love is really no help too. it really makes me think about both my future and present life. am i even choosing the correct path to embark on? what if i fail? what if all this is just a waste of time? questions, questions & more questions.

I guess life is full of questions that will go unanswered. i just hope that whatever i choose to do will not backfire on me.

On a side note, the timetables are finally out. And yays! I only have one 8.30am lesson on Monday. Other than that, most of my lessons start from 11.30am and ends by 4.30pm.

Haven't been able to properly sit down and post something because I'm currently swarmed with lesson plans and tuition.

At this moment, I'm questioning my choices in life. I enjoy spending time with children but managing them is another thing all together. I just wish that they are not so hyper all the time. It's really weird that I can feel so differently in different scenarios. Sitting at the back of class, I can talk to the students and find that they are really nice. But when I'm standing in front, I can get so frustrated that they all start to look like little monsters.

I hate having to keep screaming and nagging at people for them to listen =/

It's all coming to an end in 1 week, I can do it!!! =)

One week is finally over and I've yet to write my reflection. I'm leaving it for the weekends to complete because I'm really SUPER exhausted and tired and the thought of churning out an essay resembling a fragment of a reflection is simply put - irking the life out of me.

I can't imagine that they would expect such fantastic reflections from us, even though we only sat at the back of a tiny classroom listening to boring lessons. To make matters worse, I spent most of my week stoning in the so called 'materials resource room'.

Its not that I hate this job, and of course there are its peaks.

YES the kids are cute. YES the teachers may be friendly. But that's only the surface of things. After 1 week, I can safely say that kids nowadays are so much different from kids back in the 1990s. Although they may be so much smarter, with that it also comes with the loss of respect towards their elders and their fellow classmates. I guess its the fault of our society, parents pampering their offsprings so much that these kids grow up to be so spoilt.

Anyways enough dwelling on the future of our country. My only hope for now is that I won't screw up the remaining 4 weeks. -_- especially since I need to start teaching from the third week onwards. argh.

I blame the movie industry for inculcating in us girls the constant need for romance. All these lovey dovey movies always show how easily it is for the guy to say the right things and do the right stuff. BUT in reality this is never the truth. AND because we always see it in the movies, we will start longing for our own boyfriends to produce the same results.

In movies: guys will give in to a girls every whim.
In reality: no such thing!

SO many examples, I guess what I'm trying to express is that overall don't expect what you see in the movies to apply to your own relationship because life is never so simple. The Genting trip was a blast! And although we spent 4 days 3 nights over there, after everything I still feel that it was TOO short a trip! I guess it was the company which made it so fun and enjoyable =) I hope the trip for August would come true! hee~ Anyways everyone please save for our graduation trip to USA hor! At the rate at how I'm spending, I'm worried I won't have enough money by then. =X

Didn't take much pictures on the day 3 because zk and I was tired of carrying the dslr all over the place LOL! and we spend most of the day inside the casino thus not much pics. But we did went to eat ice-cream together and had a great time chatting and playing games with one another during dinner. I think I was the dumbest one there because alot of the time, I don't understand the riddles which the others were saying. LOL!!!

Kite flying is now the new hype among everyone and zk and I decided to try it out too! We headed down to West Coast Park to fly our kite =) It was super hot and crowded with so many parents there with their kids. And because I didn't fly a kite EVER BEFORE, zk had to do all the work. HAHA!

We went to Holland village for a 'celebration' of both our first day of school (me - CEL camp) and work (him).
We decided to eat at Tangers and the food wasn't bad! They even had squid ink spaghetti which I had been trying to find EVERYWHERE and I finally found it =) It wasn't as fantastic as I thought it would be but at least it satisfied my craving. hahas. After dinner, we went to have some ice-cream and lucky us we got to sit on the swings. Had a lot of fun talking, swinging nonstop and taking nonsensical pictures.

Too bad we only took a lousy blur pic together =( We need to take more pics together next time hor zk!

And finally YAYs! I will be leaving on Monday morning. can't wait!!!!

Went to JB again with peeps from history to eat yummy food. Went with Wenchien, Louis and Alfred to City Square first for lunch since we didn't have CEL. While driving through the custom, I got fined for bringing in those stocks from the blogshop! Super suay! The guy was such a jerk because he even smiled and gestured at us after it. =/ The first time I drove into Malaysia I had no such problems. I guess that guy had nothing better to do. Sigh!

Anyways when we reached City Plaza, we decided to eat in Secret Recipe since its much cheaper compared to the outlets in Singapore.

After eating, we had time to burn as the others were not in JB yet, so we walked around City Square shopping and hoping to find cheap deals. But surprisingly the clothes there were much highly priced compared to shops in Singapore. Guess only food in Malaysia is cheaper, other then that everything else is expensive.

CEL camp was boring but I had fun being in the same group as Louis, Hannah and Anglin =) not forgetting Wenchien although she's in another class =( We did lame interviews and videos, even going out for excursions to take pictures of lousy English. pretty fun if you don't look at the datelines and the teacher trying too hard to speak with an accent.

Went to the Gentle Paws dog shelter with zk to look for Jialing =)
its located in pasir ris farmway and we got lost trying to look for it hahas!

Anyways the dogs there were super cute and hyper. We got to walk the dogs around the area - instead of walking, zk ran with his dog. LOL that was a funny sight. him being dragged along.

English camp is a chore!!!!

I would rather spend my mornings rolling in bed and snuggling my blanket compared to dragging my ass down to school for some lame-o camp. A day at camp consists of us using our laptops to complete some assignments of the day, which could be done within half an hour MAX. After doing these assignments, we would spend the time surfing the net and 'facebooking'. This two week camp can actually be compressed into a 2 day camp.

YES! if you guessed that I want to visit these areas then you are right! My biggest wish of all is to TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD. I want to see everything beautiful and things we cant possibly see in Singapore. Sometimes I feel that Singapore is so suffocating and so bloody small, everywhere it looks the same - tall buildings, shopping malls.... I need a change of scenery, new adventures and most of all FUN.

I wish I don't have to be stuck in a mediocre and boring job my whole life. I want to be able to buy whatever I want and fly wherever I wanna go when I'm still young. It would be meaningless if I only get to enjoy when I'm already too old to get to enjoy it. Imagine a 50 year old me sitting a roller coaster. I doubt it would be as fun or I may even die of a heart attack. haha!

I guess I have to work really hard to accomplish my wish - Gambate!!!

1st week of holidays and I've spent almost everyday outside! SHIOKNESS =)
so far on Friday, I went out with the peeps from history class for the birthday celebration for April's babies at Mad jack. The food was so-so but the cake was yummy-licous.

1 exam down, 1 more to go. I seriously cannot wait for my holidays and I'm already acting as if the holidays are here. The exam today was really crappy and I doubt I'll do well for it. I'm just looking for a pass!

Finished my last assignment - science lesson plan. It was a huge rush to finish everything by 4pm and thanks to WC, I managed to finish =) YAYS! with every exam and assignment done, I'm closer to my 3 months holiday! Can't wait for our genting and universal studio trip. WEE! great fun ahead after this torturous period.

Anyways after my exam, I rewarded myself by buying a new bag for my camera from a really nice guy =) I got it for $270 which is considered a real deal as its being sold at $400plus in other places. The guy later asked if we wanted to get a hand strap too and i just bought it because it looked so good =X OMG! I wasted alot of money on my DSLR but I love my purchases! Can't wait to get my new lens on Friday! =X

Celebrated my 22nd birthday in school together with the usual group of lovelies =)
School is made MUCH bearable with them. I love how we are able to talk and joke about absolutely everything. <3 Thanks guys!

And it hasn't registered in my brain that I am no longer 21. I want to be forever 21!!!

Later in the day, met ZK for dinner and a 2nd round of celebrations. He surprised me by bringing me to a restaurant in Rochester park. The restaurant had a really nice atmosphere and every table was dimly lit by candles. My very first candlelit dinner. hahas! We ordered steak and lamb. And it was delicious! yum!

Presentations all done for this semester.

I heaved a big sigh of relief but at the same time feel disgusted about myself. Despite having presented so many times in RP, my presentation skills are still stuck at the mediocre level. I still feel uncomfortable standing infront of so many people, who are looking on and at the same time could be judging the way I talk, walk and look.

I think that I will never ever be a good presenter or a good speech giver. The most tragic thing is that the occupation I am heading towards demands for me to present EVERYDAY. The next 6 years will be a complete nightmare and I can only hope for either a way out or a miracle that I would magically turn into an amazing presenter.

this upkeeping of a personal blog business is really not for me. I'm always blogging afew times then disappearing for months on end. hahas

Anyways celebrated cny these few days and enjoyed a super long break from school. The break was much needed and I really dread going back to school. Cny was great for its hongbaos, gambling sessions and giving time to catch up with friends.
And one more thing, I just accepted another tuition yesterday, totaling to 5 tuitions. I'm seeing lots of $$ and additional stress during exam time. uh-oh!

I just realised I fail in every aspect of life.

I'm never a good friend. I seldom take initiative to keep in touch. I rarely ever sms or call just to say hello. But i want to change this.

I'm not a good girlfriend. I hardly spare any thoughts to zk feelings. I always want things my way. I even forgot the date of his birthday. I'm sorry and I want to change this.

I'm a bad daughter. I haven't been talking to my mum for almost half a year, over what I already forgot. I'm hoping to change that but it is very difficult.

I'm an uncaring sister. I don't know anything that is happening in both my brother's life. We hardly talk & we never go out together even once before. I'll change this.

I'm failing as a student. I'm always too lazy to work hard for school. My gpa is really lousy it's laughable. I really have to change this even if I don't feel like I want to.

I'm gonna be a lousy teacher. I doubt I have the PASSION to motivate kids. I was pushed into this profession because I had no where else to go. I dunno if I can change this but I'm willing to try.

I guess no one's perfect but what is most important is that we acknowledge our faults and be willing to change. Even if you take a long time to change just one bit, it's the effort and the positive attitude that leads people to forgive and eventually forget.

Today I finally got to meet up with Sherrie after losing touch for almost 2 whole years. Meeting you brought back memories and I felt even though we haven't met for such a long time, we were able to immediately click and talk about anything. =) I remember all the silly things that we did last time, like staying in the playground after school hours to gossip about boys, and also all the many secrets we share with one another. *wink

I really missed the innocence we had as kids then because after we grow up things get so much more complicated. If only I had treasured and savored the feeling of having total freedom then. Wow, this makes me think of my various after school hours adventures! We had loads of fun wreaking havoc around the neighborhood. hahas I'll miss that.

Knowing you for almost 10 years, I hope we will still be there for one another even when we are both old and wrinkly. hahas! 10 years is not enough, 60 more years please!

So this means we need (no it's MUST) meet up more often!!! Tell me when you are free again! =)

Looking at the situations around me, I'm super glad I have ZK by my side to anchor me down, to support my decisions and to just be there for me. wee recess week officially starts today!
so far, for the weekends, I've been able to catch up with friends I haven't meet for a long time.
This Friday was spent with Shihui and Jingwen going to the F1 practice race. It was SUPER DUPER noisy and when the cars were rounding the bend, I swear my eardrums almost burst!
that will be the last time for me =X
ANYWAYS, it was shihui's 21st birthday celebration and we went to eat steamboat plus kbox-ed afterwards! =) Shihui, I hope u love your presents and hope u enjoyed urself!

The next day, Saturday, met up with my yr1 poly classmates - Van, clarence, congkai, aikseng & ts for Clarence's birthday party. ate bbq and went to catch "the ugly truth". it is super funny! highly recommended. after the movie, we sat outside starbucks and talked till morning. oh man, missed the times we had during year 1.

Sunday, went to Sal's house for hari raya and also to have a small birthday celebration for her =) the food was great! I love home cook meals. long time since i had any. even got a green packet from her parents hahas! Thanks for inviting me to your home, Sal. =)

Very stress nowadays. Esp with the announcement of not being able to park inside my condo, which is super duper lame. The main issue is that every flat is only entitled to one lot BUT nowadays in our society alot of families own more then 1 car! Soooo now... even if we are willing to pay that $100 for an extra lot, its not applicable anymore. Hais! So where shall I park now? So stupid! -_-

AND! I just got fined again. $50 this time. It's not the amount that pissed me off, it's that the person who fined me, did it at 3.34am! AM lehs! Who walks around at 3.34am in the morning to give people fines. you tell me. damn sickening! And I drove all the way home not noticing it until I parked and the ticket caught my eye. I was DAMN pissed.

HAIS! cars can be very convenient and also a very big burden. what to do? I asked for it, didn't I.

Good english is damn important, if you don't believe me then try writing an essay. You wouldn't want to keep using the same word over and over again would you? So we need to have a huge collection of vocab. And what about linking them together in the right way? Here is where grammar comes in.

After 1 year in university I can safely say my english SUCKS! It's not like I don't read story books while growing up, but it just seems like it didn't help. And to make matters worse, I speak english at home. WAHAHA what a joke.

Driving -- I realised the more experienced I become, the faster i drive, the harder I step on the pedal and the more lanes I cut recklessly. After hearing so many stories of people getting into accidents and ending up with amputated limbs or even dying, it scares me, but that doesn't stop me from continuing to drive in that manner + today I even drove home with blurred vision. It can't be helped, I have astigmatism. So looking at other car's head lights would cause my vision to go wonky. But what to do, I have to drive home. I guess nobody wants to think of anything bad happening to them until it happens.

Sometimes, I will get the feeling that I'm not one of those people who would live to a ripe old age. But at least, I could only hope that I get to live a fulfilling life and that when the end comes it's painless. Saying this, I should end the cold war with my mum. It has been more than a month already.

It's really sad to see how such a strong country could treat its people like that. it's health system is really scary, where other countries are giving out free medical treatment and medicine, america's medical system is overrun by its insurance companies. woo for today i FINALLY received my "everyday minerals" makeup
waited like almost 2 months for it already....
saw ricebunny's blog and she recommanded it as its a mineral makeup, supposedly very good for the skin.
anyways, i got the sample kit, and we only need to pay for the shipping fee. We get to choose 3 foundations, a concealer and blusher.
it's actually not bad! very light on the skin and also i feel that for all the colors i chose it can all suit my skin-tone. so there's no need to choose very carefully... there are warm, cool and neutral colors, and i chose 1 from each of them. now in class slacking after lessons

anyways yesterday went trick or treating
because there is tis american school in woodlands
and my mum's fren lives nearby
then down there there's lots of angmos
hahas so we went in to get in the fun and also some free sweets
not bad sia the atmosphere
alot of different types of costumes
the houses there are huge
and i mean HUGE
with swimming pools and stuff
the deco is also very cool
with lots of ghouls and skeletons
hahas

what i've done is destroyed my reputation to entertain ppl
i know it has helped me made more frens
but wads these frens when they onli look to u to entertain them
and when u r down
they will just kick u aside
